I never had one of these as a kid, but I saw it on an episode of House, and decided to get one as an adult. Sure it\'s silly, but we all need silly every now and then. :)

Without a doubt...

My son took my magic 8-ball off my desk today while I was surfing on Amazon. I took the Magic 8-ball and asked \"Should I write a review about you, Magic 8-ball?\" The reply was \"without a doubt\", so here I am typing up my review.



I do not know or remember where this Magic 8-ball came from. I only know that it seems to have always been here, on my desk. I have moved houses a few times, and it always ends up back on my desk. I am not sure why it stays there because I have never used it in the course of my business. I try to save it for the really important questions that life throws my way.



For instance I asked it today \"Are we in a depression?\", the reply was \"better not tell you now\". So I was confused and asked \"will you tell me later?\" and it responded \"ask again later\". Isn\'t that amazing? I can\'t wait for later to find out the answer.



The Magic 8-ball has usually steered me in the right direction. An example would be a few years ago I asked \"Should I invest in Enron?\", the Magic 8-ball replied \"my answer is no\". Wow, did that save me a ton of money! How could it possibly know that Enron was going to fail? Oh wait, its MAGIC!!!



Now there have been a few times when the Magic 8-ball has been not only wrong, but horribly wrong. The most recent was a few weeks ago when I turned from my desk and saw my dog chewing an electrical cord. I asked the Magic 8-ball \"should I go unplug that electrical cord to keep the dog from getting shocked?\" The Magic 8-ball replied \"my sources say no\". So I did not unplug the cord.



I turned around and focused on the work I was doing and then a few minutes later I hear some weird noises and smell burnt fur. What is happening? Then I remembered the dog. By the time I spun around the dog was on fire. Not a huge raging fire, but enough of a fire to light 4 or 5 cigars at once. I yelled at the dog \"STOP, DROP, AND ROLL!!\", but when that did not work I realized I had never trained her to use that technique, something I must remedy later. I ran over and was about to stomp out the fire, but then realized it might hurt the dog, and more importantly I was barefoot, so I ended up throwing my margarita on her, luckily for her I had that drink in my hand so early in the day. I am sure it was past five o\'clock somewhere. That put out the fire and taught me a good lesson, never ask the Magic 8-ball any questions regarding electricity. Good to know.



An update on my dog, she is fine now. We had to cut off the burnt fur and used our Wahl 79900N Clip-N-Trim 23-Piece Complete Haircut Kit, while not specifically made for fur, it did a fine job. And the fur will grow back eventually. The good part is she no longer likes the taste of extension cords.





PS: I figured enough time had passed to re-ask my \"Are we in a depression?\" question and the Magic 8-ball replied \"Most likely\". Oh well, hope it does not last long.

Very adequate water gun

This water gun shoots about 15\', which is adequate but not as described. Large enough resevoir to outlast other water toys.

a little dissapointed

I didn\'t know you had pump the thing and there was no trigger to shoot. And it only shoots about 15 feet and the stream is not very powerful. I bought it to scare squirrels away from my bird feeders, it barely works, not enough power.

Semi-effective duck deterrent

I bought this toy to humanely frighten away an illegally released invasive species of duck away from our bird feeder. The ducks loved the \"blast\" which was more of a shower.

However, this toy is fun, even for an adult. I found it effective in providing a quick blast of cooling water when doing heavy yard work in a warm climate. My husband plans on getting one too, to \"fight back\"! More fun than the squirt guns we had as kids.

Soaker

Strangely enough, I bought this to discipline my dogs when they bark at the fence. They stop when they see the soaker. The soaker shoots quickly and long. I\'ll try the fun aspects after the weather get warmer.

A film for both fans of the game genre as well as the Hollywood series.

Its always good to see Leon S. Kennedy kicking Zombie butt and I am glad they\'ve included Claire as well to form the original duo from RE2 that had captivated the world on the PS1. This film returns back to its roots with zombies along with the T-virus and G-Virus. Although the CGI animation is not on par when compared to those that came before it such as FF7AC, it is still worth seeing if you\'re into zombie flicks.

A Good animation film of Resident Evil.

I can honestly say that this movie is good, I mean for the first animation version of Resident Evil, although we RE gamers were expecting something more.. aggressive, scarer, violent scenes in it !

But the movie is good in general, the quality is great, the sound is perfect, only the story is smoehow less stronger than any Resident Evil game or the 3_parts movie by Milla Y.

I purchased this movie along with RE5 official guide from Amazon (I thought it was cool to get a package of RE items together!.. and It is a really good one).

I advice Resident Evil fans to purchase this movie, \'cuz in the end it is about RE, right? so get it now!

Being A Huge Resident Evil Video Game Fan(Bought The Nintendo GameCube Just To Get The Resident Evil Games Made Exclusively For This Gaming Platform),I Have Been Somewhat Disappointed With The First Three Resident Evil Movies.

They Werent Terrible Movies,But They Didnt Follow The Storyline Of The Games Close Enough To Know They Were Barely Related(Kind Of Like Distant Cousins Twice Removed).



Then Finally The Computer Generated Movie Resident Evil:Degeneration Arrived.

In One Word \"AWESOME\"!!!



The Movie Features Two Of The Video Games Major Charecters(Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield), And Their Appearance Is As Close To Their Video Game Version As Possible.



The Movie Sticks As Close To A Possible PlotLine For The Video Games As Possible(In Fact If There Was A New Resident Evil Game That Followed This Storyline,I Would Not Be Surprized).



I Have Already Watched This Movie Several Times And Find Myself As Drawn In To The Action As I Was The First time I Viewed The Movie.



The Picture And Sound Are Reference Quality,To Say The Least,And Make You Feel As If You Are In The Movie Watching The Action First Hand!

A THRILLING ROLLER-COASTER RIDE! 9 OUT OF 10

I\'m a Resident Evil junkie; I love both the game franchise and I even love the live-action flicks. Note: This Resident Evil film is not related to the live-action trilogy, and serves as a prequel to Resident Evil 5. This film is a crazy blend of zombies and ludicrous yet utterly awesome action. This is one of the best animated films I\'ve ever seen as well as being one of my top ten zombie flicks.

WHAT IT\'S ABOUT: The story takes place seven years after Raccoon City was nuked off the face of the Earth. When all hell breaks loose at Harvardville Airport, the T-Virus infects people at the airport which causes it to be overrun with the hungry undead. Now Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield must stop the bio-terrorists and uncover the government cover-ups and find out what\'s going on at the mysterious pharmaceutical company WilPharma and their involvement with the even deadlier G-Virus.

MUSIC: The musical score is wonderful and flows almost perfectly throughout the film. This is not surprising, considering the Resident Evil franchise has always had great music.

ACTION: The action in this film is insanely awesome and completely over-the-top. Explosions galore, bloody zombie violence, lots of shooting, and plenty of high-octane, heart-racing moments make this film really shine. This film also features brilliant and amazing CGI animation that easily stands out as some of the best. Unfortunately, I do have minor gripes for some of the action because sometimes (But very rarely) the action goes a little too far over-the-top. Thankfully this rarely happens and you\'ll hardly notice. This film certainly earns its R-rating.

ACTING: The voice-actors were actually pretty good, even if they got moments of questionable dialogue. Capcom even went as far as to get the original voice-actor for Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 to play him in this film. The actor is overall believable and very well-done.

OVERALL: If you love the franchise, love zombie films, love crazy action films, or love animated films Resident Evil: Degeneration is a definite must-have and provides tons of non-stop thrills, making a standout and superb film.

THE GOOD: The action, the CGI, the bloodyness, the acting, the story, and the music.

THE BAD: Awkward dialogue in some areas, some action scenes are too over-the-top, and I didn\'t like the ending.

Precisely as expected

This is as ugly as any other drinking bird I\'ve seen so far, but once you get past that, it\'s handy for explaining pressure and condensation.



Durability really doesn\'t apply here, as it\'s not a toy for children.

Flew the Coop

This bird does not stop drinking. I recommended he talk to someone about his problem, but all I got was the glazed over look in his eyes. With his goofy hat and tacky tail feather, he finds his way to any available drink and dips his head right in, regardless of who he\'s hurting in the process.

Very Entertaining....Needs a little adjusting to work continuously

The Drinking Bird is made of glass....glad we got two as my 11-year old dropped and shattered Bird #1!! After adjusting properly, the bird drank continuously for HOURS until I physically stopped it....



What worked??

1. Used a glass 4\" tall..filled to the brim with water

2. Soaked the Bird\'s Head completely with water

3. Adjusted the metal collar height (gently as glass is fragile!)

4. Most importantly....I slightly bent the metal \"wings\" (that rest on the plastic \"legs\") on the metal collar (gently) to position the bird\'s distance from the glass (plastic \"feet\"/base keeps it a minimum distance from the glass of water.



Once he starts drinking, it keeps on going!!

Very Cool

This is a great novelty toys and works very well. People ask me where I got it because they want one. All you can do is watch it but it is still a fun toy to have for the cheap price.

Retro, Cool, Dumb but Clever

It depends on your mood. It is amazing. Take the glass of water away and he keeps \"drinking.\" Kids like to guess if he\'ll go forever.



Be sure to put his head clear under water to start him. You can tell the humidity by how fast he goes -- 1 drink / minute or 1 per 20 seconds, ...



Quite difficult to figure out how he works because you can\'t see inside his head. --Enjoy (I bought one for $8, don\'t pay over $10)

Major Excuses!

If you have the co-worker who has used every excuse in the book this is the toy for you. My fellow worker bees would throw money in the pot, if the excuse making co-workers sorry excuse of the day matched the excuse ball, we would buy treats for the group. Of course we had much fun with this. Throw the sarcastic ball in the mix and we laughed until lunch.

Very good and tons of fun!

My son recieved this for his birthday 2 years ago and still loves it! We only use it outside so leaking is not an issue. Fun, but not very functional

They\'re fun, I guess (it\'s hard for me to think like a 2-year old). They don\'t float upright. The squirt hole is at the top and the plastic is rather firm, so that feature is not really very useful, especially for small children. Maybe they\'re better on dry land. Note that each package might contain different Thomas characters.



Still, for $10 they are a reasonable buy.

Disappointing

My 3 year-old son LOVES tub toys, especially tub squirters, so I thought these would be perfect - given his obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine. And truth be told, he does like playing with them. But ...



* they don\'t float upright! They float lying on their sides.



* they\'re stiff & difficult to completely fill with water. If you want the water to squirt out the top of the train\'s funnel (like steam) they have to be totally full and you have to squeeze pretty hard. It\'s too difficult for my 3 year-old. When only partially filled (which is normal) you have to turn them upside down to get them to squirt. They squirt well like that - a nice steady stream - but kind of defeats the purpose.



Overall, my son likes them, but does get frustrated when they don\'t float upright. He likes playing with them out of the tub too. But, if I would have know the above things, I\'m not sure I would have bought them. Even though they are only $10.

Great toy!

My son loves these toys, he plays with them everywhere (not only in the bath). He only started playing with them after 2 years old, and now he could fill up the water by himself. He doesn\'t like the cartoons of Thomas, but loves the train toys and books. Educational as well, we learn colors with these toys and count them.

THESE BATH SQUIRTERS ARE SO CUTE I BOUGHT 3 SETS FOR OTHER CHILDREN. MY GRANDDAUGHTER LOVES THEM AND HAS A BALL IN THE BATHTUB WITH THEM. QUITE DURABLE AND EXCELENT TOY TO GET LITTLE ONES USED TO THE \"BIG TUB\" EXPERIENCE. SQUIRTING THEM ON THE CHILD IS FUN AND THE CHILD GETS USED TO WATER FALLING ON THEM OR AT THEM! These are super cute. I was going to put them in the goody bags for my daughter\'s Dora-themed party. Unfortunately, the company that shipped them (through Amazon) took their sweet time to get them to me :(

the bath squirters are very cute for the money, as mentioned previously need to be enlarged about 4 times to make the real squirtes maybe the manufacture can do these from all the feedback. Very cute and cute to go on top of cupcakes.
