Very adequate water gun

This water gun shoots about 15\', which is adequate but not as described. Large enough resevoir to outlast other water toys.

a little dissapointed

I didn\'t know you had pump the thing and there was no trigger to shoot. And it only shoots about 15 feet and the stream is not very powerful. I bought it to scare squirrels away from my bird feeders, it barely works, not enough power.

Semi-effective duck deterrent

I bought this toy to humanely frighten away an illegally released invasive species of duck away from our bird feeder. The ducks loved the \"blast\" which was more of a shower.

However, this toy is fun, even for an adult. I found it effective in providing a quick blast of cooling water when doing heavy yard work in a warm climate. My husband plans on getting one too, to \"fight back\"! More fun than the squirt guns we had as kids.

Soaker

Strangely enough, I bought this to discipline my dogs when they bark at the fence. They stop when they see the soaker. The soaker shoots quickly and long. I\'ll try the fun aspects after the weather get warmer.

If you've seen The Exorcist lately, the folks at Parker Brothers would like to extend a heartfelt Captain Howdy-Ya-Do? courtesy of their newly luminescent classic Ouija Board equipment. It's the same traditional setup as it was decades ago: the alphabet-and-numbers board with Yes, No, and Good Bye spelled out in turn-of-the-century mysterious script; the heart-shaped Message Indicator Oracle with the readout window; the numerous coy references to Ouija being only a game--isn't it? So if this edition seems to comprise a bit more plastic than we remember, the promise of the board and indicator glowing in the dark for half-an-hour (after exposure to lamplight for 10 minutes) more than makes up for it. I love the newer glow in the dark version, i used to have this years ago as a child, I am now 38 and wanted to show nieces this amazing board I used to \"play\" with as a kid.

Why are there always fanatics?

Of course there are fanatics calling this toy evil because B movies give it a bad name but the fact is this IS a toy. This is a toy. It\'s a fun toy. It\'s a rectangular piece of card board with the alphabet drawn on it and then painted with glow in the dark paint. The planchet (the triangle thing) is plastic. It wasn\'t \'carved by Satan.\' It\'s not Evil. It\'s a toy. Think about it. What self respecting demon is going to show up using a glow in the dark piece of plastic? If that\'s your idea of evil clearly you don\'t know about the cruelty and violence in the world today that you have to rant about a TOY! Get a grip!



Little girls use these at slumber parties and I\'ve yet to see anyone sucked into Hell for asking the piece of cardboard \'Does Timmy like me?\' Some of these negative reviews calling this evil and Satanic are out right silly.

Recon CS-6

I love the recon. It has good range, very good accuracy, never jams, and is easy to mod (i haven\'t but i have seen youtube demos). When using the barrel extension, the shooter can put extra darts down the barrel for a shotgun effect. The light beam targeting system is very accurate when used under the barrel extension. overall it is one of my favorite Nerf guns, along with the maverick.

Your better off with a cheaper Nerf Maverick.

I am 19 years old, and me and my buddies all bought this for a 500+ people zombie game coming up next month downtown. The barrel attachment makes the distance of the Nerf dart shorter. The aimer attachment is pretty good with the accuracy when tilting your gun in the air to shoot farther, but the barrel itself screws it all up.



I took my gun back to the store and bought a Maverick Nerf gun for half the price and it shoots the same distance (if not, farther) than the recon. I know I\'m 19 buying a Nerf gun, but a huge game of zombies is awesome.

Terrific Fun!

Bought this and the longshot to battle with my son. These are loaded with fun and provide hours of indoor entertainment!

this is a great nerf gun. it jams sometimes, but they are easy to get out. you can change it to different guns and each is good at a certain thing. like just using the pistol part and the back part is good at shooting up, the pistol part is good at short ranged attack, the pistol part and the front is good at shooting down, and the whole gun is good at long ranged attack. this is a good nerf gun.

Wolverine Claws

Paired with a Wolverine Costume, our three year old is having a blast. The claws are a little big for him. But, he could care less.

This toy would be perfect except for the description states gloves and there is only 1 glove per package. This was very disappointing to myself and my son.

Great fun for the Wolverine fan!

my son just got this for his 6th birthday and loves them. I say THEM b/c we had to buy TWO of them...that is my only complaint..it is packaged with ONE claw and wolverine has TWO. so of course my son wanted two of them. I got them for $22 at toys r us. each takes 2 AAA batteries. makes electronic slashing noises when you swing them around and the claws come out easily with the flip of the wrist and my son gently pushes them on the ground or couch to push back in. the claws are rounded and larger around than I expected so he is not hurting anyone or anything (yet, lol!). His hand fits under the black part and it has adjustable velcro underneath and a handle to hold onto so virtually anyone can use it, no matter their size.

the claws do stick once in awhile coming out if he doesn\'t do it just right, but he really doesn\'t care at all. overall a super toy and we would purchase again!
